D'espairsRay: Coll:set (CD)

Coll:set features 14 original tracks and includes the popular single Garnet. When Coll:set was originally released in Japan, it exposed D'espairsRay to the masses. Soon after, the public was intrigued with the unique Visual-kei style and sound of D'espairsRay

Since their formation in 1999, D'espairsRay have been creating a distinctive sound in the Visual-kei scene. With band members HIZUMI (Vocals), Karyu (Guitar), ZERO (Bass) and TSUKASA (DRUMS). D'espairsRay brings a dark tone to their music matching their unique visual look.

D'espairsRay music is a mix of heavy, industrial and gothic rock with vocals that alternates between melodious tones to harder growls and screams. Creating music that Visual-kei fans crave, the sound from D'espairsRay can't be compared to other JRock bands.

Creating a stir since their humble beginnings, D'espairsRay have accumulated a large dedicated fan base internationally. Performing abroad is not unfamiliar territory for D'espairsRay as they have performed overseas on multiple occasions. From rocking out festivals in Europe to touring across North America, D'espairsRay were one of the first Visual Kei bands to perform for their fans internationally.

D'espairsRay have participated in many major events including Taste of Chaos Tour in 2008, performing in 34 cities across North America. In 2009, D'espairsRay was also part of the largest Visual Kei festival in Japan, the V-Rock Festival. DespairsRay will be touring internationally in 2010, expect them in your market this year.
