Overall: 6.0
Stylishly cyperpunk, enough to entertain. It's a clearly told, overtly stylistic story
which borrows genre-specific elements from science fiction, cyberpunk, film-noir and other
widely known media.
Story: 5.0
Familiar, but visual details and moodiness add interest.
Character Development: 6.0
Not outstanding, but the two main characters have enough life to be interesting. Armitage
actually has a legitimate emotional climax when the plot's major twist is revealed.
Art/Animation: 6.0
It has a strong design and well-composed shots, but when either the scene or the camera
move, their motion isn't particularly fluid or dynamic.
Translation: 7.0
No flaws or mistakes interfere with the story but, as usual, most of the jokes and some
of the flirtation simply sound lame in translation. Each of the characters clearly retains their
own voice in translation, which is a big plus.
Acting: 8.0
Each of the Japanese actors brings a strongly distinct vocal style to their character.
Regardless of how clearly breaks in the conversation are or aren't marked in the subtitles,
the actor's tone and identity are always easily audible.
MPAA Equivalent: PG-13
There's a little swearing, some violence and a fair amount of scantily clad females but
no actual sex acts or graphic violence. Such a pity.

All strobing techno and 'tude.
