Amanda Winn Lee: Volume 3 When we left Mrs. Jason Lee, she was about to tell us where she's skewered her body: AWL: : I have a belly button piercing and I have ear piercings and I don't have any tattoos. I always wanted to get one though. I've had a vision of having a tattoo on my thigh and then sitting there giving birth and having the doctor say, "I can see the baby's head. Nice tatt. Push." My friend wanted to get a tattoo on his toe that said, "Put Tag Here."
Luis: If you had a secret mutant power, what would it be? AWL: Turning water into wine.
Luis: If you were part of some secret government agency that required you to have a code name, what would your code name be? AWL: Hey Bebe! Two words. I have that on my cell phone.
Luis: What did you dream of being when you were little? AWL: Dude, when I was a little girl I wanted to be a bartender. I was going to be a bartender. That when they had all those bartending commercials on and I thought, "Wow, everybody likes bartenders." But then bartenders have to deal with drunken assholes like me.
Luis: What is your first memory? AWL: I was about two years old and I was running out of my kitchen. I remember hearing the swish of my diaper as I ran and I had my pink blankie in one hand and my bottle in the other. Now, ask me what I had for breakfast - I have no f***ing idea.
Luis: What book made you cry? AWL: "Bridge to Terabithia." "Prayer for Owen Meany." There was this really bad book called "Widow for One Year," written by John Irving. But the way he closed it was so beautiful, it brought a tear to my eye and I am not a weepy bitch.
Luis: What's your favorite board game? AWL: I'm kind of a dork. I love stuff like Scattergories. We usually play in a very altered state.
Luis: Do you dream in color? AWL: Yes, I dream in very vivid colors. I really hate black and white.
Luis: What's your favorite black and white movie, or do you avoid them because you hate black and white? AWL: I do watch black and white movies because some of them don't suck. "Casablanca," of course, is brilliant.
Luis: And that is the end of the questions. You've answered more questions than anyone else. AWL: Yeah.
