just as the subject says i just wanted to hears peoples opinion about Cosplay. I am not really interested in it but if someone looks alot like Vash the Stampede than all i can do is clap.

just for fun. that's all there is to it.
just fun to dress up as you fave chara for one day. and let people take your picture.
half the fun is also the time spent making the costume!
jolly fun!!
well...there was this cosplayer who won lotsa awards coz he really looks like saito from RK.

| I've been cosplaing/Making my own costumes for awhile now. I take it sorta seriously, because there is a lot of comp. In it, trying to be the best. But It's also fun do be in that charater for a few days too, and I love it when people take pictures of me in costume, it makes me feel, seen. |

i would do it if i could find a character i could pass as. so far, i dont resemble any anime character that I know of. But it is my dream to cosplay as a panzercop from Jin Roh.

i think its ok even if you dont resemble the character higa. i mean, i think NO ONE looks like anime ryt? i don't even look anything close to the one i cosplayed. n_n
for one thing, she's blond.
but i don't wanna color my hair!
but still, lotsa people appreciated the costume so...
just try it. n_n make it up on the uniqueness of how the costume was made.

I think cosplay seems fun but i personally haven't done it. If i am able to go to Fanime with my anime club this year i might cosplay as Anthy from Revoultionary Girl UTena. I know a few people who think it is pointless. But i say you can't knock it untill you try.
