Five Star Stories GNs

If you consider yourself an Anime fan you've at least heard the epic tales contained in this manga. Written by Mamoru Nagano (Heavy Metal L-Gaim, Brain Powered) in 1986, Five Star Stories has inspired fellow manga artist for it's unique stories and mecha designs. It's this uniqueness that Akadot Retail must have. Now Akadot Retail is proud to be one of the few to carry one of the best. (Plus we like the odd humor and info included in each volume.)

But what is Five Star Stories really about?

Among the 5 star systems of the Joker Cluster, many kingdoms vie for control of resources and territory. Serving these kingdoms are the members of the Joker Galaxy knighthood called Headdliners, who do battle in giant armored robots of awesome power called Mortar Headds. The ultimate weapons of war, Mortar Headds require tremendous processing power and calculating speed that can only be provided by Fatimas. Androids mostly adult female in shape, Fatimas possess expanded physical capabilities and make it possible to control a Mortar Headd. This is a story about the Emperor Amaterasu, called "The God of Light" and his wife Lachesis, struggled through an era of wars throughout the Joker Cluster. It also tells of the many daring Headdliners and Fatimas who fought courageously during those times, some victorious, some not, but always in the name of chivalry.

The beginning is the end, the final chapter of the tale is played out first, as the fifth Black knight, Grard Sydmian is felled by a mirage knight, ending the battle for Juno. The story then begins with Ladios Sopp and Voards Viewlard attending the debut of the Fatima Clotho, who attempts to escape from the proceedings.
