The doctor-in-training Eijiro Saito works really hard in a first-class hospital at the monthly income of only 38,000 yen (about $320). With a pure heart, he aims to be doctor, but he finds himself questioning full-fledged doctorsEbehavior and the medical system. Because he differs in opinion about how the medical field is run, he is treated as a problem student. This is his challenging story while studying to be a doctor in the various medical divisions and thinking about what the term "doctor" is.
The reality that is told in this story is quite shocking for people who have trusted hospitals. A patient who requires an urgent operation cannot get the treated soon because of a meeting between doctors. And the doctor, who is in charge, rarely does an operation. Also, during the night, there are only interns stationed in the hospitals. So if traffic accident victims are suddenly brought in, the inexperienced interns are the only ones there to offer medical service. In addition, From reading the issues addressed in this manga, perhaps you will begin to question the reliability and safety of hospitals.
The main character, Saito is determined to change the system and saves patients' lives even if he has to break the rules of the hospital. His courage and kindness gives people hope.
This is a great manga that describes the occupation of doctors that is considered to be the good and challenging work. But on the reverse side, it also exposes other aspects such as the dirty hidden agendas in the medical field.

Kimi wa Pet! (You are a Pet!) by Yayoi Ogawa
Sumire Iwatani is a young career woman who seems to have it all. However, society still does not look kindly on successful women in business and men are a bit intimidated by her determination. On her way home one night, she finds a young 18-year-old man loitering around her doorstep. Although he appeared to be intoxicated, he reminded her of a dog she once had named "Momo." Feeling somewhat lonely from her life, she asks the boy to be her "pet," with no romantic or intimate strings attached.
