Taiwan's Chang Hong Channel Group and Shanghai's Film & Television Group are co-producing a live-action movie, based on the famous manga comic "Slam Dunk". The original comic sold more than 100 million copies in Japan alone, and it was awarded a couple of times in Japan Media Arts Festival. Cast will be headed by Taiwanese pop star, Jay Chou, Charlene Choi, Chen Bo-lin, and Yee Chung Man. The movie will be released on winter 2008.
