Excellent read, with great humor. Our Uke is both cute and a little dim as the Yukaza who falls in love with him finds he hates Yukaza so pretends to be a homeless man and is taken in by Kakeru. The father in hospital even gets used to the idea that the love is real (sort of a new thing for a book, a willing father in law). Ukyo alternately protects our uke as the Yukaza and then comes back and works in the kitchen as ‘the homeless man’. By the time the book ends, the deception is falling to pieces, the love is getting hot and heavy, the cute factor is off the scale (including a debt paid with our uke in just an apron, ohhhh, visions of ‘No Money’). I can only hope that book two comes out soon but until then definitely get and enjoy this – and at a discount too!
