Dear Akadot,

I do not think that I am the biggest otaku in the country, but I am probably the biggest otaku in my state. Where I live it is a crime to like anime, but I still wore my "DBZ" shirt to school and told everyone how great "Gundam" is. I may have gotten a little beaten up, but it was worth it.

Anime is the greatest form of entertainment in the world. This is proven by the fact that anime is broadcast in many different countries and in many different languages. The reason I think I should win this prize is because I have persevered through a lot of adversity to be able to enjoy my favorite pastime.
