Production I.G's "Jin-Roh" premiered May 25th in Long Beach, California as part of Cal State
University's 2nd Annual Japanese Animation Festival. This ominous tale about police corruption
and the power of the secret police in an alternate history has attained acclaim in Japan despite
a tumultuous struggle to even get released. To celebrate its US premiere, Akadot is running a
"Jin-Roh" contest, for which two lucky winners will each receive a "Jin-Roh" art book from Japan
signed by its Production I.G creative team, director Hiroyuki Okiura, character designer Tetsuya
Nishio, and author Mamoru Oshii, the genius behind such seminal works as "Ghost in the Shell,"
"Patlabor" and the upcoming live action film "Avalon."
Copies of the "Jin-Roh" art book are available at OmochaBox. You can also preorder the "Blood: The Last Vampire" art book by clicking here.
